I like this piece. It feels like one of my more successful drawings. The photo doesn’t fully capture what you would see in person, where there’s a tactile luminosity that comes through more clearly.

What works for me is the contrast: a golden, tranquil day interrupted by a figure running in mind lost manic terror from something unseen. That collision between calm and panic, beauty and unknown terror is what I wanted here.
