Manifesto for a Self-Aware Culture

Manifesto:

This project proposes a new multimedia collaborative dedicated to the study and redirection of collective thought.

I believe contemporary consciousness is already shaped by powerful forces. These forces are not deliberate or intelligent. Instead, these forces are systems formed by capitalism. The logic of capitalism has worked well, but it has also corrupted our cultural imagination.

The first aim of this project is experimental: to demonstrate how easily collective thinking can be influenced through images, stories, media, and shared experiences. The second aim is constructive: to explore whether cultural thought might be guided consciously and intelligently rather than left to the mindless momentum of existing systems.

The collaborative treats culture itself as a medium. Something that can be observed, questioned, and ultimately reshaped.

Funding Needed:

This project is obviously dependent upon financial backing from someone.

I would like to be secondary, someone who proposes actionable ideas to a group.
