I was looking at this painting by Rodin. There is so much in this watercolor while at the same time its 3 shapes. Its really nicely done. I wish I could work watercolor like that.

However… did you see that hair? At first I thought it was a cat sitting on top of the ladies head and I spent a good deal of time trying to understand what Rodin was implying by placing the cat in such a position. It wasn’t until just now, while writing this, that I realize its not a cat but her hair.
So while thinking about what I had mistakenly read into this painting, I started to think about how I’m currently imagining the future. There is all of this talk about how AI is going to end the world these days. I don’t really see that happening. However, I do see the end of humanity, what we are right now happening in the not distant future. I think there are going to be rapid sudden evolution’s in what happens.
Its inevitable that we will in the near future create biological computers. I think there will be a bazillion different swarms of nanobots that will roam the countryside in swarms. I think these nanobot swarms will have the ability to reprogram us to one extent or another. One might have started off as a means to remove unwanted genes that result in cancer, another…. where I was getting at with this picture is I was imagining having clouds of nanobots wandering around and since they would be basically invisible, you could be enjoying a nice soak in the pool and find yourself reprogrammed.
