Whistling Dixie Past the Graveyard


This started off as being about a guy taking care of a beaucolic graveyard. I think originally I was going for lazy afternoon vibe. Somehow it turned into this ride past haunted tombstones.

I had the phrase ‘Whistling Dixie Past the Graveyard’ in my head, like I had heard it somewhere before. It turns out there are sayings ‘Whitling Dixie’ which means a false sense of security. and Whistling past the graveyard = ‘ignoring fear’…
