John Koch had such a fine touch. I admire the color, composition, mark making.

The overall syrupy sentiment reminds me of a flat Saturday Evening Post cover. Which I find to be unfortunate.


End of Session 11

I hope this is good. It’s always hard to tell before putting more detail in how the composition is going to hold up.

I’m sad about not having enough space for his boots. Bad planning on my part.
