Franz Lerch - ‘Mädchen mit Hut’ 1929

Almost all of Lerch’s work has a commercial/friendly slant. I feel like with this piece, Lerch unintentionally added darker undertones, and in my mind shifts his normal style resulting in a piece one can contemplate.
