This is not the best quality photo…
At this point, I was happy with everything about this picture except for the ‘depth’ of color and mark making. I like the color, the weird figure, the funky text, the level of detail…
Next step is to push the ‘depth’ and then come back here.

I appreciate Matisse’s spatial depth in this painting.
