Zenzaburo Kojima
Just starting to learn about Kojima Xenzaburo. He is known for combining western art with traditional japanese methods.
I am drawn to his work mostly where he is attempting to articulate complex landscapes.
I found some watercolors associated with a recent gallery show of his work. To me, these are often similar to a stenographers short hand. I really appreciate his mark making. It feels like a language to me.
