Legislative Process Network

Create a very complex - fun essay style video network that follows the process of getting a piece of legislation through to a vote. This would be almost a CNN network type of news channel.

• Dozens of teams creating content for what I assume are 100s of bill proposals.

  • Short video explaining the positive and negative aspects of the bill.

• Round table that would focus on a specific set of bills each week.

• Tracking popular bills as they work their way through congress

• Retrospective videos to show how the opposition blocked the bill or how the bill garnered the votes (lessons learned).

There could be enough content to turn this into a 24-7 news channel. Because our political system is so contentious it could be exciting to see.

If done correctly, this could:

1. Inform people as to why legislation is important

2. why you are on the right side

3. why the bill should pass / not pass

4. what people are doing to stop the bill

I bet if this were released in a story format right before a bill were to go to a vote, there would be a firestorm of informed support/dissent whatever.

2. There could be a ton of interesting video content online (great video channel).
