THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESSS!!!!
I thought it would be an interesting study piece in that I normally don’t work with shapes that take up big swaths of the picture plane.
Initial concept
I’m not totally sure what I was after with this piece. I just had this image come to mind. Pretty much like I’m showing it here.

This had to be at the back of my mind. I wasn’t overtly thinking about it when I had the idea for this piece.
I wasn’t very excited by the initial idea… I could see refining it a ton more with more varied mark making and the such, but I decided to chop into it slightly and see what happened.
I’m not sure what I think about it.
